NY Republicans Ask House To Back Removal Of George Santos

A coalition of New York Republicans is appealing to their GOP counterparts in the House to support a resolution for the expulsion of Rep. George Santos (R-NY), citing concerns about his suitability for office.
In a communication addressed to fellow lawmakers on Wednesday, this group encouraged their colleagues to cast their votes in favor of expelling Santos.
They asserted that the first-term legislator had deprived voters of the opportunity to make an informed choice about their preferred candidate due to concerns about his background. This appeal coincides with the House’s anticipated vote on an expulsion resolution later this week, aimed at removing Santos from his congressional seat.
