An Ohio man and Rivian truck owner said his vehicle was struck at a “relatively low speed,” so low, in fact, that the airbags didn’t inflate.
Chris Apfelstadt said the insurance company of the driver who rear-ended him estimated the damage at $1,600 and covered that cost.
But the repair shop “completely disassembled” the truck and found and additional $40,000 of damage, which also was covered by the insurance company
