Oklahoma’s Senate passed a bill banning gender-transition surgeries, hormone therapy, and puberty blockers for minors.
Senate Bill 613, introduced by state Sen. Julie Daniels, accepted amendments introduced by the House on Thursday. The bill will now go to Republican Gov. Kevin Stitt, who is expected to sign it, Tulsa World reported.
If he does, it would make Oklahoma the latest of several red states to sign a bill restricting controversial gender-transition treatments for minors.
