Russia claims Ukraine attempted to assassinate Vladimir Putin in an overnight drone strike on the Kremlin, which prompted lawmakers in Moscow to demand the Kyiv regime be “destroyed.”
Top leaders in Moscow called the attack as “a planned terrorist act and an attempt on the life of the President of the Russian Federation.”
But Ukraine said it had “nothing to do” with the alleged attack. One theory is that Russia launched the attack as a false flag in an effort to unite people behind Putin, who is locked in a disastrous war that has gone wrong from the start.
