Parents Outraged After Bags Of Fentanyl Found At City Park

Portland, Oregon residents were left in a state of shock as bags containing fentanyl were discovered in a popular public park, highlighting the city’s ongoing struggle with a drug epidemic.

The alarming find took place in Tanner Springs Park on Monday when a local mother stumbled upon over 80 grams of the potent synthetic opioid in both powder and pill form. Tom Karwaki, chair of the University Park Neighborhood Association, expressed his disbelief, stating that the quantity of fentanyl found far exceeds what would be considered for personal use.

Karwaki further conveyed the collective outrage within the community, emphasizing that no playground in the United States can be deemed entirely safe. Speaking to “Fox & Friends” on Friday, he echoed the concerns and highlighted the gravity of the situation.
