New York City school bus driver Maridelsa Fana experienced a dramatic incident on Monday afternoon while searching for parking.
Hearing what seemed like an explosion, she saw a corner of the seven-story apartment building where she has lived for over a decade collapse onto the street.
Fearing the entire building might topple, Fana quickly moved away. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries or fatalities, but over 140 residents, including Fana, now face significant disruptions in their lives due to the partial collapse of the building.
