Passenger Goes Overboard On World’s Largest Cruise Ship

During a voyage originating from Florida, a passenger has been reported to have gone overboard from Royal Caribbean’s Wonder of the Seas, which holds the distinction of being the world’s largest cruise ship. This incident occurred while the ship was positioned off the coast of Cuba.
The unnamed individual reportedly fell overboard from the 230,000-ton vessel on the evening of Tuesday, marking the ship’s second day of a seven-day itinerary that embarked from Port Canaveral, Florida.
In response to the incident, Royal Caribbean issued a statement affirming that the ship’s crew promptly initiated a search and rescue operation. The cruise line is collaborating closely with local authorities to manage the situation.
