Authorities have issued a directive for the apprehension of former NFL star wide receiver Antonio Brown due to his alleged failure to fulfill a child support payment obligation.
According to court records obtained by TMZ Sports, an arrest warrant for Brown was issued on August 9 in response to his purported non-payment of $15,000 in child support to Wiltrice Jackson, the mother of his child. Brown has the option to avert arrest by settling the outstanding amount of $15,000 along with an additional penalty of $5,000.
This is not the first time Brown has encountered legal issues concerning child support payments. In April, he faced an arrest warrant for neglecting to pay $30,000 in child support; however, he managed to satisfy the debt before facing detainment.
