A Florida State University professor has suddenly quit his $190,000-a-year job after he was caught pushing fake data on racism studies.
Eric Stewart, who had spent 16 years at FSU, abruptly left the school after allegations emerged that he faked data to make his studies exaggerate racism.
Stewart, who had six of his studies retracted, has been absent from the college since mid-March. He hasn’t returned since a new investigation was launched over his work.
The allegations have renewed scrutiny over claims that he fabricated data by altering sample sizes to make the results appear more racist, the Florida Standard reports.
