Kyle Rittenhouse, who in 2021 was acquitted in 2021 on five charges of fatally shooting two people and wounding a third during violent street protests in August 2020 in Kenosha, Wisconsin, is being sued by the estate of Joseph Rosenbaum, one of the victims.
The estate filed the lawsuit on Friday, coinciding with the third anniversary of the death of Rosenbaum, 36, of Kenosha.
The protests were sparked after police shot a black man, Jacob Blake.
