Russia Places Ukrainian Eurovision Champion On Wanted List

Ukrainian singer Susana Jamaladinova, the winner of the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest, has been included in Russia’s wanted list, according to state news agencies on Monday.
Reports indicate that the Interior Ministry’s database has listed her as sought for an alleged violation of criminal law.
Mediazona, an independent news site focusing on opposition and human rights, stated that Jamaladinova faces charges under a law implemented last year, prohibiting the dissemination of purportedly false information about the Russian military and the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
