Republican strategist Scott Jennings criticized Democratic strategist James Carville during a Thursday podcast over his prediction that President Donald Trump’s administration would “collapse” within a month.
“I believe that this administration, in less than 30 days [is] in the midst of a massive collapse and particularly a collapse in public opinion,” Carville told Mediaite’s Dan Abrams on Friday. Jennings, on “Flyover Country with Scott Jennings,” dismissed the idea and argued that Carville has been in a tailspin ever since he wrongly forecast that former Vice President Kamala Harris would win the 2024 presidential election.
“Honestly, I think he’s having an emotional breakdown. If anybody’s collapsing, it’s James Carville. The man’s been around for a long time,” Jennings said. “He did exactly one thing in his life, that was [to] help win the 1992 presidential election. And ever since, he’s been one of the more colorful political commentators.”
