Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) has advocated for a “massive retaliation” against Iran and urged President Biden to adopt a more robust approach in response to the series of attacks on U.S. assets in the region.
Cotton criticized the president for opting for a measured response to Iran, which has not directly targeted the U.S. but has utilized proxies since the conflict erupted in Israel.
In an interview on “Fox News Sunday,” Cotton expressed his dissatisfaction, stating, “We’ve only hit back a few times. When we do hit back, it’s almost always at empty proxy warehouses or maybe proxy forces in Iraq and Syria.”
