Send ‘Em Paxton

The Texas GOP-led House voted Saturday to impeach Republican Attorney General Ken Paxton on alleged corruption.
The vote was 121-23 with two voting present.
Under the Texas Constitution, Paxton will have to step aside temporarily as the process plays out.
The Senate will now take up the matter and vote whether to remove the attorney general. Two-thirds of the Senate must vote to remove him, which in this case means 21 senators, or he will remain in office.
Paxton is under investigation by the FBI for allegedly misusing his office to assist a donor.
