The Police of the Czech Republic on Thursday said that a school shooting in Prague left “several dead and dozens of injured,” and the suspect has been “eliminated.”
The shooting occurred at a school Jan Palach Square in Prague’s Old Town and the entire surrounding area is closed, police said on X, formerly Twitter.
“The shooter has been eliminated !!! The entire building is currently being evacuated and there are several dead and dozens of injured,” police said, as translated.
The suspect has not been identified.
