Shock: Jim Caviezel’s Sound Of Freedom No. 1 After CPAC Push, ‘Pay It Forward’ Campaign

A new movie based on a real story about saving children from brutal human traffickers scored the No. 1 spot in theaters on July 4, a huge victory for its faith-based promoters, including CPAC, which debuted the film to draw attention to its new program to stop the international crime.
Sound of Freedom is projected to have made $14.5 million, in part due to Angel Studios’ effort to pre-sell tickets. The company said the movie earned $11.5 million at the box office and another $2.7 million through its “pay it forward” program.
