The State Department has issued an updated “worldwide caution” this week for travelers, asserting that more than half of the countries worldwide now present heightened risks for Americans amid the ongoing conflict in Israel.
Utilizing its travel advisory system, the State Department categorizes countries on a scale of 1 to 4, indicating the risks Americans may encounter while visiting.
As of Friday, 21 countries have been designated as “Level 4: Do Not Travel,” 20 are classified as “Level 3: Reconsider Travel,” and over 70 are marked as “Level 2: Exercise Increased Caution.”
