Immigration and Customs Enforcement has confirmed that the suspects in a D.C. police shooting and the unrelated death of a Maryland 2-year-old are illegal immigrants, the Washington Times reported.
Two-year-old Jeremy Poou-Caceres was killed earlier this month when he and his mother were caught in a violent incident in Prince George’s County, Md. Poou-Caceres’s mother sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Nilson Noel Trejo-Granados, ICE stated, is an illegal immigrant from El Salvador. He was twice arrested in Montgomery County, Md., in 2023 and county officials twice ignored the ICE detainer on him, the agency stated.
