Taylor Swift Producing 138 TONS Of CO2, As She Flies to See Travis Kelce Play Football

Grammy-winning singer Taylor Swift’s frequent flying, including trips to see Travis Kelce play NFL football, is renewing interest in her COS output, which includes flights related to her global Eras World Tour.
Swift last year was named the most significant celebrity contributor to carbon dioxide emissions and reportedly is on track to retain the title due to her extensive travel schedule.
Swift ha flown numerous times between New York and Kansas City to see Chiefs tight end Kelce play.
Her travel habits have reportedly generated about 138 tons of CO2 emissions in just three months, which would require the planting of roughly 2,200 trees for a decade to offset the impact.
Swift owns two jets, and air travel has been closely monitored.
Her team says the singer’s has made efforts to her reduce carbon emissions, including purchasing double the carbon credits required for her tour travel.
