Text messages obtained by Just the News reveal that a Chinese energy conglomerate, CEFC China Energy, initiated a pursuit of a relationship with the Biden family in late 2015.
The conglomerate hoped to leverage the Biden name to facilitate their plan to acquire energy assets in the United States. Hunter Biden’s business partner, James Gilliar, expressed confidence in the deal, stating that it would provide the Chinese company with a prominent profile in US cities like New York and Los Angeles.
The messages also highlight cultural differences and suggest that the Chinese considered the Biden connection a valuable asset.
