Third Suspect Charged In Fentanyl-Related Death Of Toddler At NYC Day Care

A third suspect has been charged in connection with the death of a 1-year-old at a Bronx day care that investigators believe was the result of exposure to fentanyl.
Officials announced the charges Monday, following the child’s death last week at the facility, which investigators believe was a narcotics distribution center.
The third suspect has been identified as Renny Antonio Parra Paredes. He was charged with conspiracy to distribute narcotics resulting in death.
Day care owner Grei Mendez and alleged co-conspirator Carlisto Acevedo Brito have already ben charged with narcotics possession with intent to distribute resulting in death and conspiracy to distribute narcotics resulting in death.
