This Startup Wants To Create An AI-Generated CNN

In what appears to be a modern newsroom, a business correspondent dives into Disney’s earnings report, shedding light on subscriber growth at their streaming services and revenue at their theme parks. While showcasing images of Mickey Mouse and Disney+ on the screen, the report might seem seamless to the viewer.
However, upon closer inspection, it becomes apparent that the correspondent’s lip movements do not perfectly align with her words.
The video in question is a demo clip from a startup called Channel 1 News, which aims to revolutionize video news channels by leveraging generative artificial intelligence. Co-founded by producer and director Scott Zabielski (known for Tosh.0 and The Jim Jefferies Show) and tech entrepreneur Adam Mosam, Channel 1 is set to launch this year with a 30-minute weekly show available via a FAST channel.
