President Donald Trump confirmed on Thursday that he would delay tariffs on Mexico after a conversation with that nation’s leader and that the country was working to help the U.S. curb trafficking at the border.
Earlier this week, Trump imposed 25% tariffs on Mexico and Canada as part of his broader effort to rebalance trade with key American partners and amid frustrations with their efforts to crack down on border security.
