Democratic Delegate Stacey Plaskett said Sunday during a live national television appear appearance that former President Trump should be “shot” during a live television appearance.
Plasskett, who represents the Virgin Islands, made the comment on MSNBC regarding Trump recently being indicted on federal criminal charges for his handling of classified documents after leaving the White House.
She said Trump has the country’s nuclear codes and information for “anyone and everyone,” which she said “should be terrifying to all Americans, and that he needs to be shot – stopped.
After correcting herself, Plaskett said Trump will “have his day in court.”
