Trump Effect: Migrant Encounters At Border Experience Massive Drop

Since President Donald Trump took office, migrant encounters at the southern border have dropped dramatically, according to data obtained by NewsNation’s Ali Bradley.

From Jan. 17-19, the Border Patrol encountered 4,000 people, which fell to 1,940 on Jan. 20-21, as Trump took office. Wednesday numbers reached 440 by 8p.m.
