Trump Name Drops Noem, Scott When Asked About Possible VP Picks

In another sign the 2024 GOP presidential primary is effectively over, with former President Trump with winner, Trump was asked Sunday, Trump was asked about possible vice president picks.

Trump mentioned Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., and South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, R, when asked on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures.”

“Not for a while,” Trump said when asked when he would announce his pick. “We have so many great people in the Republican Party, but not for a while.”

However, when further pressed, Trump said he’s still undecided

He said he told Scott: “You are much better candidate … for me, than you were for yourself.”

She said Noem has “been incredible fighting” for him.

Others potential running-mates being mentioned include Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y.
