Trump Not Planning To Participate In GOP Primary Debates

One of former President Donald Trump’s top advisors stated that it is “unlikely” for Trump to participate in the primary debates of the Republican Party. Senior Trump advisor Jason Miller shared this information during an interview on “The Hill” on NewsNation on Tuesday.

Miller stated, “At the moment, President Trump has indicated that he’s unlikely to participate, at least in the first two debates.” He further explained that it would not be logical for Trump to engage in debates at this time with candidates who have lower polling numbers, ranging around three, four, or five percent.

This statement from Miller suggests that Trump is currently disinclined to take part in the early stages of the primary debates, considering the current positioning of other candidates in the polls.
