Front-running Donald Trump now leads his closest rival in the GOP presidential primary, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, by 46 points, according to a CBS News poll released Sunday.
The former president leads despite facing criminal charges in several lawsuits including the most recent, earlier this month, in Fulton County, Georgia.
The new poll shows Trump has 62% of the likely GOP primary vote, with DeSantis trailing at 16%.
