The Israeli government has been engaged in ongoing efforts to retrieve historical artifacts from former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.
These artifacts, including ancient ceramic oil lamps considered part of Israel’s “national treasures” collection, were initially loaned for a Chanukah party hosted by Trump in 2019.
The festive event was attended by Trump himself and millionaire Saul Fox, a prominent donor to the Israeli Antiquities Authority.
