Trump Team Teases First Events With VP Pick At Convention

A joint fundraising committee affiliated with Donald Trump‘s presidential campaign is teasing the first events featuring his eventual running mate during the Republican National Convention later this month.

The Trump 47 committee is holding at least two fundraisers with the yet-to-be-unveiled Republican vice presidential candidate, according to copies of the invitations obtained by the Washington Examiner.

The first fundraiser, “The Strength in Unity Reception,” will be held on July 17 when the GOP rank and file gather in Milwaukee. The second fundraiser, “The Freedom First Event,” will be held the next day, before Trump accepts the presidential nomination.

According to the “The Strength in Unity Reception” invitation, individual attendees who give $50,000 or raise $100,000 will join the roundtable while those who give $25,000 or raise $50,000 will get a photo opportunity. The Freedom First Event will cost $200,000 given or $300,000 raised for a donor to join the roundtable, and $100,000 given or $150,000 raised for a donor to get a photo opportunity.
