US, British Forces Launch More Strikes Against Houthis In Yemen

United States and British forces on Saturday launched more air strikes on roughly a dozen Houthi targets in Yemen, according to officials from both countries.

The strike are in retaliation for the Iran-linked group continuing to attack commercial ships in the region.

The group has said their attacks on shipping in the Red Sea and other waters in the region are in solidarity with Palestinians amid Israel war in Gaza, which is home to many Palestinians.

The U.S. has since shortly after Israel’s war in Gaza started in October 2023 launched strike against the Houthis, who control the most populous parts of Yemen.

Israel declared war after the Palestinian-back group Hamas, which controls Gaza, launched terror attacks on Israel in early October 2023.
