A massive crane on a high-rise building in Manhattan caught fire and partially collapsed on Wednesday morning, resulting in debris falling to the ground.
According to authorities, two firefighters and at least four civilians sustained minor injuries. The crane is located on a construction site at the intersection of 10th Avenue and West 41st Street.
The building under construction stands approximately 40 stories tall. Officials mentioned that the crane operator was present when the fire broke out but was unable to extinguish it and had to evacuate. Fortunately, he managed to escape safely.
