A post was made on the website Reddit.com this weekend of side-by-side videos of Joe Biden debating when he was running for president in 2019 and when he debated Republican Donald Trump last week in his bid to win reelection as president in 2024.
Biden appear noticeably younger and energetic then, compared to now at 81.
The president’s performance Thursday night was so halting – with stammers, forgotten talking point and vacant stares – that some have called for the Democrat politician to drop out of the presidential race.
Reddit describes itself as a “home to thousands of communities, endless conversation, and authentic human connection” and says, “Whether you’re into breaking news, sports, TV fan theories, or a never-ending stream of the internet’s cutest animals, there’s a community on Reddit for you.”
One person commenting to the videos wrote, “damn, he looks as if he’s aged more than a decade during his presidency.
