WWE Hall Of Famer Sentenced To 17 Years In Prison

Tammy “Sunny” Sytch, a former professional wrestler and WWE Hall of Fame inductee, has been sentenced to more than 17 years in prison in Florida. This verdict follows her involvement in a fatal car collision where she struck another vehicle while driving under the influence, resulting in the death of a 75-year-old man.
Authorities revealed that Sytch’s blood alcohol level was four times the legal limit at the time of the incident in Volusia County in March 2022. In addition to DUI manslaughter, she faced charges related to the discovery of an unsealed bottle of vodka and the presence of cannabis in her system.
Sytch, who pleaded no contest to the charges in August, expressed remorse and deep regret for the tragic death of Julian LaFrancis Lasseter of Daytona Beach during her sentencing hearing on Monday. Despite the potential for a sentence of over 25 years, the court ultimately imposed a prison term exceeding 17 years.
