Mexican Consulate Raises Warning Over Crime In DC

The Mexican government has issued a warning to its citizens residing in Washington, D.C., urging them to exercise caution in areas that were previously considered safe due to a concerning surge in crime.
The Mexican consulate in Washington, D.C., released an official statement on Tuesday evening, notifying the “Mexican community” about the alarming rise in criminal activities.
In the advisory, the consulate advised Mexican residents in the city to promptly call 911 in case of emergencies and also provided an emergency number for consular assistance.
