Hamas on Sunday released to the Red Cross 4-year-old Abigail Edan, an Israeli-American, marking the first release of a U.S. hostage since the militant group launched a terror attack on Israel on Oct. 7.
President Biden said minutes after the child’s release was announced that she is safely in Israel.
Edan’s parents were killed in the terror attack.
