Las Vegas is set to welcome former President Donald Trump on Thursday as he joins supporters to mark a projected victory in the Nevada Republican caucus.
The Trump campaign has arranged for a celebratory gathering at Treasure Island where attendees will watch as results from the caucus — which commences at 5 p.m. — commence to surface.
Trump, leading the Republican field, remains one of the few contenders in the Nevada GOP caucus following the withdrawal of other candidates, including Ron DeSantis and Vivek Ramaswamy, earlier in the election season.
Nikki Haley has chosen not to engage in the caucus process, opting instead to participate in Tuesday’s primary, a contest that holds no promise of delegates.
This visit will mark Trump’s second appearance in Las Vegas in recent weeks, following a January campaign event aimed at rallying his base to turn out for the caucus over the primary election.
