Ford Motor Company unveiled a new campaign Thursday offering employee pricing to all U.S. customers on almost every Ford and Lincoln model.
The ‘From America, For America’ campaign comes as the auto industry faces 25% tariffs on foreign imports. Ford’s Chief Policy Director Steve Croley assured that since the majority of its vehicles sold in the U.S. are also made here, their vehicles won’t see a tariff. However, they will still face tariffs when it comes to foreign auto components down the road, but this latest initiative could save customers as much as $4,000 in the meantime. This promotion will last until June 2 or until the existing inventory runs out.
“What it means is you get the employee price. Look, I’m an employee. That’s a great deal, I can tell you. It’s thousands of dollars,” Croley said on Fox News’s Fox and Friends Thursday. “And it means that the dealers will sell below invoice. It’s a really great thing. We’re going to take advantage of a strong inventory that we have here and at least for the next couple months it’s a fantastic opportunity.”

The announcement by Ford comes as Stellantis said it is planning to pause operations at assembly plants in Canada and Mexico and to temporarily lay off 900 employees.
Other automakers have opted to change their strategies to avoid the tariffs. Honda plans to manufacture its Civic Hybrid in the U.S. after the initial plan was to operate in Mexico. Hyundai‘s Georgia plant will increase production by 67% rather than produce more outside of the country.
While the foreign tariffs are expected to be negotiated by respective dignitaries, President Donald Trump has promised that the auto tariffs will be permanent.
