Law enforcement officials have arrested a suspected serial killer in connection with the infamous Gilgo Beach murders on Long Island, as confirmed by The New York Post.
The suspect, identified as 59-year-old Rex Heuermann, is a married architect working at a New York City firm. Police executed the arrest after DNA evidence linked him to the crimes, sources revealed to The Post. Law enforcement officers swarmed his residence on 1st Avenue in Massapequa Park during the operation.
The arrest pertains specifically to the “Gilgo Four” case, involving the discovery of four women who were found wrapped in burlap within a short period of time in late 2010.
