Going No-Ware With Police Knowing, NASCAR’s Cody Ware Now Must Wear Ankle Monitor

Rick Ware Racing’s Cody Ware must now wear an electronic ankle monitor follow additional felony charges for an alleged April 3 assault.
The NASCAR Cup Series driver was initially held April 10 on one a felony charge of “assault by strangulation — inflict serious injury”, and a  misdemeanor charge of “assault on female” in connection with the alleged incident.
Ware posted the $3,000 so keep himself out of jail. However, the 27-year-old reportedly now faces two additional charges following the completion of an investigation by the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office.
Ware turned himself in Friday to authorities. A new bond of $5,000 was issued, and Ware is now required to wear an electronic ankle monitor as a condition of his release.
