Leilani Simon is accused of killing her 20-month-old son.
Quinton Simon was reported missing from his home on Oct. 5, 2022. Roughly six weeks later, his remains were discovered at a landfill.
Simon was later indicted on 19 counts, including malice murder, felony murder, concealing a death and several counts of making false statements during the investigation.
