The Trump family will begin testifying in their defense this week in the $250 million fraud trial that the NY attorney general brought against ex-president Donald Trump, sons Don Jr. and Eric and the Trump Organization.
Don Jr. arrived shortly after 1 p.m. Wednesday to begin testifying. Eric is on the witness list for Thursday. Trump himself and daughter Ivanka are set to take the stand the week of Nov. 6. (She is not named as a defendant.)
The three Trump men and the Trump Organization are all accused in a decades-long scheme, in which Attorney General Letitia James alleges the former president of the United States “grossly” exaggerated his net worth by as much as $3.6 billion a year.
