Elon Musk’s social media platform, X (previously known as Twitter), has deliberately implemented measures to slow down the loading speed of links leading to specific news organizations and online competitors, including the New York Times and Facebook. This strategy seems to be directed at entities that Musk holds personal grievances against.
As reported by The Washington Post, X has attracted attention for its deliberate decision to reduce the access speed of links to certain websites.
This move is perceived as a targeted action against companies that have previously been at odds with Musk. Users clicking on links from X/Twitter to the mentioned websites experienced a delay of approximately five seconds before the page content loaded.
