The Detroit Pistons on Saturday night ended their NBA-record losing streak at 28 games.
The team snapped the streak with a 129-127 victory over the short-handed Toronto Raptors.
This victory comes after the Pistons matched the Philadelphia 76ers’ record of 28 consecutive losses, split over the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons, with an overtime loss at the Boston Celtics on Thursday.
Jalen Duren contributed to the Pistons’ victory with 18 points and 17 rebounds and Kevin Knox II scored 17 points.
The Toronto Raptors were playing the second half of a back-to-back and were short-handed following a trade earlier in the day.
