Retired Chicago Judge Disbarred For Stealing $240K For Tuskegee Airman Uncle

A retired Chicago judge has been stripped of her law license for stealing over $240,000 from her uncle, who is a decorated World War II veteran.
The ex-judge, Patricia Martin, alleged used the money to buy cryptocurrency.
The money was is a trust she managed for her uncle, a Tuskegee Airman who was in the care of a nursing home.
Illinois Supreme Court records show Martin was, on consent, disbarred Thursday.
