Kimberly Gardner, St. Louis’ top prosecutor, finally has resigned following bipartisan calls for her resignation from Missouri public officials.
Gardner had been bankrolled through her first two campaigns by George Soros, and she was planning to run for reelection next year.
Gardner has been criticized repeatedly for mishandling cases for the dysfunction in her office.
