Supermarket Employee Fired For Recording Shoplifters

An employee at a Colorado supermarket was terminated from his position after he captured footage of three individuals stealing approximately $500 worth of laundry detergent from the store on Father’s Day.

Santino Burrola, the employee at King Soopers, became aware of an ongoing theft at the store and promptly decided to document the incident using his smartphone.

As Burrola, a former military police officer, exited the store, the three thieves hastily loaded a black Chevy Trax. One of them opened the car doors, another tossed a basket full of items into the back seat, while the third struggled to unload the overflowing shopping cart.
