GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump and potential 2024 primary challenger Florida GOP Ron DeSantis nearly crossed paths Sunday in early-balloting state Iowa.
DeSantis was giving speeches across the state and made a surprise stop at a BBQ joint in the city of De Moines.
Trump was set to hold a rally in De Moines but had to cancel it, citing a tornado warning in the area. But the explanation apparently didn’t stop widespread social media speculation whether Trump really had another reason.
